Sending Some Love

A homemade Valentine card is so much better than a bought card. Zach is really good at making them and they are always so funny! This was my favorite one from a few years ago 🙂

I decided I was going to make some to mail out this year so  I found a bunch of different Valentine’s and vintage clip art online and then printed them off. (If anyone would like them, I have them all saved in a word document and I can email them.)

Vintage Valentine Clip Art

I had purchased these cards at Big Lots and bet you can get them at any craft store or you could even just fold a card stock and make your own.

I had some lace and glitter that I glued on to give them the homemade/old look.

I am loving this Martha Stewart glitter that I just got. It is so fine and goes on so smoothly and comes in a great selection of colors.

They carry it at Michael’s and when you use a 40% off coupon you can get the set of  24 colors for $17. 00 and I can tell it will last forever!

And here are a couple of up shots 🙂 Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

  1. Great job on the Valentines! I’m doing my Valentine program for my Questers’ chapter on Thursday and again on the 28th for a Little Rock chapter. Wish I had some of those homemade ones as “favors”, but no time to do them. I’d like the clip art you have, though. LOVE your blog and LOVE YOU! “GAL”
