Mrs. Meyers Dryer Sheets~On the Cheap

I love Mrs. Meyers products. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I recently found some Mrs. Meyers dryer sheets on clearance. They have been great and I like knowing they are not full of chemicals. I stumbled upon this awesome blog Fake-It Frugal that showed how to make your own dryer sheets. I went and purchased the Mrs. Meyers fabric softener and tried it out.

All you need is old wash cloths and fabric softener

In a container put a washcloth and then pour a cap full of Mrs. Meyer’s fabric softener. (I soaked 4 washcloths at once and added a little extra softener.) The lemon verbena scent is not my favorite but is the most common one in stores. I love the Rosemary scent and they just came out with Basil that I can’t wait to try! Online they have a great selection and sometimes offer free shipping.

Pour a cap full of softener per washcloth

Once they are soaked lay out on a tray or something to dry. (I put them in the sun all day to dry.)

let dry then they are ready to use

Once they are dry they are ready to use. They can be used for up to 12 washes before they will need to be resoaked. Great dryer sheets at a fraction of the cost!
